Day
01 Arrival Kolkata - Delhi - Guwahati Assistance on arrival and
transfer to the Hotel. Evening visit Navagraha Temple, Kamkhaya Temple, boat
cruise at river Brahmaputra and Srimanta Sankardeva KalaKshetra A huge
modern cultural complex at Panjabari named after the great Vaishnavite saint
Mohapuruxh Srimanta Sankardeva of the 15th century is located about 10 km
away from the city-hart towards the south. This has been established with
the purpose of preservation and promotion of the rich socio-cultural
heritage of the peoples of Assam. It is open for visitors on all days except
Monday.
Day
02 Guwahati - Shillong Drive to Shillong (100km 3hrs). Enroute
visit Umiam Lake. Post lunch local s/s of Shillong covering Wards Lake, lady
Hydari Park, golf course, Laitumkhrah cathedral and evening explore Bara
Bazar. O/n Hotel Pine wood, Shillong.
Day 03
Shillong - Cherapunjee - Shillong Drive to Cherapunjee (Sohra)
56kms from Shillong. Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang falls, view of
Bangladesh, Cherapunjee Bazar, Mawsami cave and back to Shillong.

04 Shillong - Kaziranga Morning drive to Kaziranga National Park
(296 km 9hrs). Overnight Wild Grass Resort or Aryan Lodge, Kaziranga.

05 Kaziranga Morning elephant safari post lunch jeep safari inside
the park. O/N Kaziranga.
Day 06 Kaziranga -
Nameri National Park After breakfast drive to Nameri National Park
(60km 2hrs). Afternoon nature walk along the Jai Bharali river. Evening
Campfire. O/N Eco Camp, Nameri.
Day 07 Nameri -
Dirang Morning drive to Dirang (200 km). Enroute visit Tipi
Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Lunch at Bomdila and
later drive to Dirang. Overnight Hotel Pemaling or Tourist Lodge, Dirang.
Day 08 Dirang - Tawang (12000 feet)
Morning drive to Tawang (150 km). Tawang, the major center of the Mahayana
Buddhists which is standing on the spur of a hill at an altitude of 12000
ft. above the sea level. On the way to Tawang lies the world's second
highest pass - the Sela Pass (14000 feet) which runs through a small ridge
and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. Evening visit Gompas.
Overnight Tourist Lodge or Hotel Buddha, Tawang.

09 Tawang - Bomdila Early morning attain prayer at Tawang
monasteries. After breakfast drive back to Bomdila. Evening visit Gompas at
Bomdila and also local market. Overnight Siphiyang Phong Hotel, Bomdila.
Day 10 Bomdila - Itanagar Morning drive
to Itanagar (350km 9hrs drive). Itanagar the capital city of Arunachal is a
modern settlement built in the vicinity of the ruin of the 14th century fort
old capital. The archaeological remains of this med review capital comprises
of two brick wall ramparts. Itanagar has extremely interesting museum known
as Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, time spent here can really acquaint you with the
culture and tradition of this region. All prototype of the bamboo and cane
architecture of dwelling of different tribes and apparel, design and
functional tools and others handicrafts are display here. Evening at Hotel
Donyi-Polo Ashok.
Day 11 Itanagar - Ziro
Early morning drive to Ziro (150 km) enroute visit Nishi villages. Ziro
at an altitude of 5754 feet is almost a level valley enclosed on all sides
by pine-clad low stooping hills. This is called Apatani Plateau and is
famous for Paddy-cum-Fish culture. Post lunch visit the Apatani Tribal
villages. Overnight Blue Pine Hotel, Ziro.
Day 12
Ziro Whole day visit Apatani tribal villages.
Day 13 Ziro - Daporijo Morning drive to Daporijo (160 km) and visit
Hill Miri Tribal villages on the way. Post lunch visit the Tagin Tribal
village, if time permits. Overnight PWD Inspection Bunglow or Hotel
Kanchenjunga, Dumporijo or Daporijo.
Day 14
Daporijo - Along 160km 8hrs drive. Along the headquarter of west
Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300m
inhabitants of Adi (Gallong) tribes. Adi has different sub tribes, which
differ from each other's like Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori, and
Bokar), if you visit far inside this places you will find all these tribes,
but in Along you will find only Adi (Gallong) tribal people. You can have
visit of Jirdin, Kabu, Kaying villages, others interesting to see is a
hanging bridge on the Siang river, local made of cane and bamboo bridge
around 60 to 70m long connecting to the others hill tribes, fishing are the
sports for these tribe. You can have visit to Komsing village which is a
historical memorial places for these tribes, during the British rule in
these area a commissioner called Williamson Magor who was posted there were
murdered during battle war with local Adi (Gallong) tribe, still local
people preserved his memorial, you have to trek for 10 to 12 km on the top
of the hill after crossing Siang river on cane bridge. Months back this year
a bridge was wash away of sudden huge flood in these valley, water rises in
sudden of 30 to 40mts.height, whereas normal height is to 3 to 6mts, and
losses lots of property in the area including human. Its believe to be a big
unknown dam in China was broke down, which reason for heavy flood, this all
along the Siang river which called in Arunachal Pradesh, river Brahmaputra
in Assam, Tsangpo in Tibet and finally connect river Ganga and than Bay of
Bengal.
Day 15 Along Full day in Along.
Day 16 Along - Dibrugarh Early morning
drive and cross the Brahmaputra River on a ferry to reach Dibrugarh (175 Km
9hrs). Overnight Hotel Natraj, Dibrugarh.
Day 17
Departure Delhi - Kolkatta Morning drive to airport to connect
flight to Delhi/Kolkatta.
